I love Alaska Airlines. The cheese platter is my favorite, I pair it with the Straightaway Margarita tamed with some ginger ale,as it is a strong cocktail at altitude. Alaska also offers access to their lounges if you are treating yourself to first class. They board early which I think helps with a mostly on time departure. They have done away with the ability to print tickets at the airport at most if not all airports, so come prepared people, get the app or print at home. Also meals are preorder.
I fly the AA A320 quite a bit. PHL-CLT. RSW-PHL. I like the older sears and the leg room is better than the Oasis configuration. 👍🏻✈️
This aircraft was adopted Boeing Sky Interior. But, there’re no winglets.

A322 looks odd w/ winglets instead of fences
So what if they don't have IFE , Seeing how the flights are very short.
The 717's fly missions up to 3 hours long, but with the advent of free wifi the lack of IFE is less of an issue now
I talked to the captain after a flight and asked about the retirement date for the 717 ,and he said 2030 because there is a engine backlog at Airbus so they are keeping the 717 in service longer.
Can't complain that we have them for another 5-6 years!
I´m flying with the 764 the route Munich-Atlanta in 60 days. Pretty excited, but sadly, the only window seat left was row 56 i suppose, which is the last row of the plane. So no wing view :(
You'll get a bit of a wing view. But a window is better than no window!

Hey there. I'm about to fly for the first timer in over 25+ years and will be taking a flight to Dallas, TX on the A220. I am doing exposure therapy (ERP) and have to watch flying videos to practice living with the fear and discomfort of my flying fear, and this video was a great step in that direction. Looking forward (well not really, but you know what I mean) to checking others out.
The A220 is a great plane to fly on. The large windows help make it feel more roomy in the cabin
Love that deep whistling noise it makes from 0:24 to 0:28. I traveled on one of these from SNA to SEA. These were originally Bombardiers before Airbus

I would like to visit Colorado, but the turbulence scares me.
I will be flying MSP-AMS this summer on Premium Select. Did you find the need for a neck pillow? If the recline is good and pillow offered is supportive enough, I might not lug around my neck pillow. Hope you respond :)
I was able to get about 3 hours of decent sleep without a neck pillow. The combination of the large winged headrest and the pillow they provided did the job for me.

it is a easy enough plane to fly . It had power. So unlike basic DC9 it didn't spend all its time climbing. I got to fly several that were show room new. Lost my medical in , 2004 on medical retirement. I have free passes on Southwest. But,strange to me I Cant say why .I havent rode as a pax or flew since my last time I flew the 717 May 04,2004.At the top of my career It ended.Im sad or any remorce .Grateful that with no military or college. raised in projects and trailer parks. I was proud for the opportunity. I got to fly the old aircraft dc-3s beach 18 and the commuters jet stream and then it was a modern age airplane so it covered a good span. After 18 years. Enough about me about the airplane I loved it it's a great airplane.

This is the type of plane that I'll be flying on next month. I haven't flown in about fourteen years, so I have no clue what to expect. Can you use Bluetooth to connect your wireless headphones to the entertainment system or do you need the cord?

Thanks for sharing your precious experience with us. I'm flying with this plane type in less than 2 months, nervous about the turbulences and possible bumpy flight, I wonder how this plane can handle bad weather 🧐
Every large airliner handles turbulence about the same, and as good as weather forecasting is, turbulence can still happen unexpectedly. The good thing is that the pilots will always try to find the smoothest ride possible
IMO, a legacy carrier, especially one that charges so much, should have IFE, i.e. screens. JetBlue, which is a LCC, has them. I recently went on a trip on AA, and I couldn't get my iPad to connect to the entertainment system. I don't think using your phone is the equivalent of a seat back screen.
No its not equal at all, I hope AA will reconsider and reinstall screens
AA is a LCC DISGUISED AS A LEGACY CARRIER. AA's cabins and service are on par with SPIRIT's while charging the prices of DELTA.
